Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Deliver individual, couples, or family therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities tailored to client needs.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during acute episodes.
- Provide specialized counseling for a variety of presenting concerns. There is no pressure to work with populations you don't feel comfortable in working with or have little experience in.
- Maintain comprehensive medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensure timely updates of medical records and progress notes
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively for remote therapy sessions while ensuring compliance with privacy standards
Experience
- Proven experience in outpatient mental health settings with a focus on behavioral health or clinical counseling.
- Strong background in psychotherapy techniques.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults are highly desirable
- Telehealth experience and proficiency with digital platforms for remote patient engagement are preferred
