Position Overview
We are seeking a strong, passionate Clinical Supervisor to help lead our behavioral health programs and clinical team.
This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on developing staff, ensuring quality care, and driving program excellence. You will oversee all clinical services while maintaining a small caseload and playing a key role in shaping the future of our agency.

Who You’ll Work With
You will work closely with:

- Program Managers
- QMHPs and Clinical Staff
This role blends independent leadership with strong team collaboration.
What You’ll Do
Clinical Leadership & Program Oversight
- Oversee all clinical programs to ensure quality, effectiveness, and compliance
- Monitor outcomes and guide improvements in service delivery
- Observe staff in the field, including school-based TDT services
- Support clinical decision-making across programs
Supervision & Staff Development
- Provide weekly clinical supervision to QMHPs
- Mentor staff and strengthen clinical skills
- Support treatment planning and case conceptualization
- Train new hires on documentation and expectations
Training & Team Development
- Lead clinical meetings and trainings
- Promote ongoing professional development
- Ensure staff align with agency standards and workflows
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with:
- DBHDS licensing standards
- Medicaid billing and documentation requirements
- Agency policies and procedures
- Monitor documentation quality and timeliness
- Prepare for audits and licensing reviews
- Maintain and update compliance standards
Documentation Review & Auditing
- Review IIH, TDT, and Community Stabilization documentation
- Complete outpatient audits as needed
- Ensure all documentation supports medical necessity
Direct Clinical Responsibilities
- Maintain a caseload of approximately 14 clients as required
- Complete clinical assessments for IIH, TDT, and Community Stabilization
- Provide support for complex cases
Program Development
- Support implementation of CPST services
- Assist with program growth and expansion
- Ensure new services meet regulatory requirements
Leadership & Collaboration
- Participate in leadership and management meetings
- Collaborate to improve operations and outcomes
- Provide clinical insight for agency decisions

Qualifications
- License-Eligible Mental Health Professional in Virginia (LMHP-Eligible, Supervisee in Social Work, Resident in Counseling, Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy, etc.)
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
- Strong knowledge of Intensive In-Home (IIH), Therapeutic Day Treatment (TDT), and Community Stabilization services
- Knowledge of DBHDS regulations and Medicaid documentation requirements
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Supervisory, mentoring, or leadership experience preferred
- Ability to support staff development, clinical growth, and quality service delivery

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
