We are looking to bring on a cook assist our production in the Garde Manger department. This job will be located in Latham, inside our commissary kitchen. One of the best things we offer here is a great quality of life. A perfect position for someone in the industry looking to have more time at night with friends and family.
Garde Manger Associate
-Adhering to standards set by the Garde Manger Leads, Commissary Chef, and Chef de Cuisine
-Following recipes for bulk salad production (when needed)
-Assisting Cold Packaging department as needed
-Executing catering orders with guidance
-Cutting and portioning cakes for display cases
-Assisting other GM members with cater production
Qualifications
-Ability to multitask
-Basic Knife Skills
-Usage of Stoves, Ovens, Slicers and other relative kitchen equipment
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
-Prior experience with quantitative cooking is not required but preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
