We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator Shop Foreman for a custom fabrication and repair shop. This position offers steady, year-round work with a variety of projects including agricultural equipment, trailers, structural steel, staircases, railings, and custom metal work.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
- Measure, cut, fit, and fabricate metal components
- Perform quality MIG welding; TIG experience is a plus
- Fabricate and repair agricultural equipment, trailers, and structural steel
- Build custom stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metal projects
- Operate saws, grinders, presses, and other fabrication equipment
- Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
- Train and assist other welders/fabricators
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop
Qualifications
- 5+ years of welding/fabrication experience preferred
- Strong welding, fabrication, and repair skills
- Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate layouts
- Structural steel and custom fabrication experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Pay: $30–$35+ per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
