Exalt Academy is seeking a dedicated and certified K–5 English Language Development (ELD) Teacher to support multilingual learners in developing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English. This teacher will provide targeted English language development instruction and collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students have strong language access across all content areas.
The ideal candidate is a strong elementary teacher who builds relationships with students and families, delivers engaging language instruction, and supports students in building the academic language needed for long-term success.

Deliver engaging English Language Development instruction aligned to English Language Proficiency standards
Support multilingual learners in developing foundational reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
Use assessment data to monitor student progress and inform instruction
Build strong relationships with students and families
Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure language access and student success
Teach K–5 English Language Development classes and/or provide targeted language support
Deliver small-group, whole-group, and individualized instruction based on student need
Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned to district curriculum and student language development needs
Assess student growth and use data to adjust instruction
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support multilingual learners across content areas
Administer and support language proficiency assessment processes, including ELPA21, as needed
Maintain compliance documentation related to English learner services
Participate in program development, professional learning, and team meetings
Bachelor’s Degree required
Valid Arkansas teaching license required
ESOL certification preferred
Elementary teaching experience preferred
1–3 years of teaching experience preferred
Familiarity with elementary literacy development and language acquisition strategies
Proficiency in using online instructional and assessment tools
Ability to maintain clear documentation for language support services
Ability to use data to drive instruction and support student growth
Strong belief in the potential of multilingual learners
Ability to create a structured, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
