About the Opportunity
We're seeking experienced Buyers (not planners, schedulers, or inventory specialists) with hands-on procurement experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or technical environments. Candidates should have experience managing purchase orders, supplier negotiations, sourcing, and vendor relationships in an ERP-driven environment.
We're looking for Buyers who can step into a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal ramp-up while partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for procurement professionals who enjoy supplier management, technical purchasing, and supporting highly complex manufacturing programs.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle from requisition through purchase order completion
- Source suppliers and conduct RFQ/RFP activities
- Evaluate supplier pricing, lead times, quality, and delivery performance
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and supplier agreements
- Purchase indirect materials, manufacturing commodities, engineering hardware, COTS products, and supplier services
- Support engineering and manufacturing teams with technical procurement requirements
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve delivery, quality, pricing, and invoice issues
- Process purchase orders within ERP/procurement systems
- Monitor supplier performance and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Maintain procurement documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and manufacturing priorities

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent procurement experience
- 3-5+ years of Buyer or Procurement experience
- Experience negotiating with suppliers
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working onsite

Pay: $45.00 - $75.00 per hour
