Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in handling inventory related to lumber, insulation, sheetrock, etc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and preparing materials for delivery or pick-up, while ensuring accurate inventory management and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving & Unloading:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify the quantity and quality of goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inventory Management:
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually, depending on item type.
- Product Handling:
- Safely handle fragile and heavy materials, including large doors, windows, and cabinetry.
- Use appropriate lifting techniques and safety equipment.
- Warehouse Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Dispose of waste materials properly and follow safety protocols.
- Team Support:
- Assist coworkers and delivery drivers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with sales, logistics, and customer service teams.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or construction materials handling experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with building materials like Windows, cabinets, and doors is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and work on feet for extended periods.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Basic computer and inventory software skills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Work Conditions:

- May require occasional overtime.
