We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Operations Technician to help operate and maintain a cryptocurrency mining facility. This role focuses on keeping the facility operating safely and efficiently through inspections, preventive maintenance, equipment swaps, troubleshooting, and general facility upkeep.
No prior ASIC mining experience is required. The right candidate will receive on-the-job training from experienced technicians.
ResponsibilitiesDaily / Weekly Operations
- Perform scheduled walkthroughs of the facility
- Monitor mining equipment health
- Replace offline miners with spare units
- Replace cooling fans and power supplies as needed
- Verify miners return to service after repairs
- Inspect network switches, cables, and communication equipment
- Assist with firmware updates and equipment configuration
- Keep accurate maintenance logs
Preventive Maintenance
- Clean mining equipment
- Inspect electrical panels and PDUs for visible issues
- Report abnormal heat, smells, or damaged equipment
- Assist with monthly preventive maintenance
- Maintain inventory of spare parts
Facility Operations
- Verify proper airflow and hot aisle containment
- Inspect fans and ventilation equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Coordinate with remote management through Foreman and other monitoring software
- Respond to equipment alarms when needed
Qualifications
Preferred experience in one or more of the following:
- Electrical work
- HVAC
- Industrial maintenance
- Data centers
- Network cabling
- Commercial construction
- Manufacturing maintenance
- Mechanical repair
Must be:
- Mechanically inclined
- Comfortable working around electrical equipment
- Able to lift 60 lbs
- Detail-oriented
- Able to follow written procedures
- Comfortable using computers and mobile apps
- Willing to learn ASIC mining systems

Your primary responsibility is keeping the facility operating safely and efficiently—not repairing every individual miner immediately.

- Quickly replacing offline miners
- Identifying developing problems before they become outages
- Maintaining excellent documentation
- Helping minimize downtime through preventive maintenance
