Addiction Internist or Psychiatrist for Wholeview Direct
This part-time role will have the following responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains expert knowledge regarding evidence-based psychopharmacological treatments for substance abuse and psychiatric disorders.
- Provide psychiatric and addiction medicine care to Wholeview Direct patients in the outpatient OASAS program
- This role will involve training and providing support and supervision to mid-level medical providers who are hired to provide outpatient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements
- Must be a physician licensed and currently registered as such by the New York State Education Department
- Must be Medicaid enrolled in NYS
- Must have at least one year of education, training, and/or experience in substance use disorder services.
- Experience prescribing addiction meds including buprenorphine, naltrexone and long-acting injectables (LAIs)
- Board certification in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or both from a certifying entity appropriate to their primary or specialty board certification is preferred

Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per hour
