Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrate features through engaging demos, and recommend suitable items to meet their needs
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions
- Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory counts
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers using phone etiquette and clear verbal skills
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with grocery store environments is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and POS operations
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for supporting team efforts
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, product demos, and upselling strategies is beneficial
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
