Duties
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders, sales, and cash handling accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
- Manage food service customer order management, including serving food promptly and addressing customer inquiries professionally.
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, cleaning kitchen equipment, and adhering to sanitation standards regularly.
- Assist with food handling duties such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales transactions, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures.
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to upsell menu items effectively
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
- Food industry or restaurant experience is desirable; grocery store or café experience is a plus.
