The Orlando, Florida office of a national insurance defense law firm is seeking an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to provide litigation support in a busy civil defense practice.
The ideal candidate should have approximately 3-5 years of experience in a litigation support role and should be comfortable assisting with scheduling, calendaring deadlines, tracking follow-ups, electronic court filing using CM/ECF systems, organizing case materials, and helping ensure that tasks are completed timely and accurately.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Assisting with scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, client calls, and other case-related events.
- Providing consistent support to attorneys in managing litigation matters from intake through resolution.
- Calendaring deadlines and ensuring appropriate follow-up on pending tasks.
- Drafting and revising proposed orders, letters, email correspondence, and other routine legal documents.
- Maintaining organized case files and assisting with document management.
- Communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, vendors, and internal team members.
- Monitoring filings, correspondence, and deadlines to ensure timely action.
- Experience with CM/ECF systems and federal court electronic filing.
- Insurance defense and complex litigation experience preferred.
- Excellent proofreading and grammar skills.

Pay: $53,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
