Summary
As a Facilities and Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for maintaining all the physical components of buildings owned and operated by SRS. This includes mechanical systems, heating and air conditioning systems, fire suppression and detection systems, emergency/security systems, electrical, plumbing and locks systems. The goal is to operate, maintain, and repair existing equipment and facilities used in support of the company’s operation. This position is a hybrid position between hands on duties (50%) and leadership desk position (50%). In this role we expect you to actively fix, repair, maintenance and operate machines and equipment. The business is growing and transferring to 24/7 operation which creates more job opportunities in the organization in several shifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Maintenance of production equipment and other facilities’ support equipment
· Assign and process work orders.
· Scheduling of all predictive and preventative maintenance
· Maintenance of all applicable records
· Daily monitoring of proper functioning of facilities’ equipment and systems
· Handle hazardous materials including chemicals
· Working with Engineering Department for processing chemical waste
· Responsible for minor repairs and maintenance
· Requesting of vendor quotes as well as schedule and supervise all repairs that cannot be done in-house
· Interface with process development and production groups for equipment qualification, testing, and maintenance modification within an ISO framework
· Continuous maintain of the Etchline.
· Any other tasks assigned by the employee’s manager.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 3 years of experience in the solar or semiconductor industries desirable.
- Knowledge of handling hazardous materials.
- 5-10+ years of experience performing minor repairs and maintenance.
- 5-10+ years of experience on facilities maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Education and/or Experience
Associates Degree or equivalent certificate.
Language Skills
English is a MUST. Bilingual English/Spanish conversational is an advantage but not a must.
Mathematical Skills
Intermediate Math and Data entry skills.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to identify problems, propose and carry out solutions according with company goals and strategies.
