Brief Description of Role
We are seeking a Lower School Teacher’s Aide that supports classroom teachers in delivering instructional and educational support to students. This role assists with classroom management, lesson preparation, bulletin board creation, student supervision, and individualized support to help create a positive, safe, and effective learning environment.
Responsibilities
Instructional Support
- Assist the teacher with implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students
- Help monitor student progress and report observations to the teacher
Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment
- Help manage student behavior according to school policies
- Supervise students during class, recess, lunch, and transitions
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up classroom materials and activities
Qualifications
- Education degree or equivalent
- Experience working with children of all ages

Working Conditions & Physical Demands Physical demands include dexterity for office machine/supply operation, including but not limited to computers, telephones, copy machines, facsimiles, and printers. Stooping, bending, reaching for files or supplies, and sitting or standing for extended periods is common.
