Experienced CNC Milling Machinist
Ultimate Tool & Die Inc. is a precision machine shop located in Rocky Top, Tennessee, specializing in complex, close-tolerance machining for demanding industries. We are looking for an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to join our team.
This is not an entry-level or machine operator position. We are seeking a skilled machinist who can independently program, set up, machine, inspect, and complete precision parts from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
- Select tooling and workholding for efficient machining.
- Machine precision components while holding close tolerances.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of CNC milling experience.
- Ability to independently set up and run jobs.
- Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
- Experience inspecting precision parts.
- Dependable with excellent attention to detail.
- CAM programming experience is a plus.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience, machining ability, programming knowledge, and the ability to independently complete precision jobs.
