Seattle Early Learning Center is a family of WA state DCYF licensed preschools. We are locally owned and operated, where owners are onsite on a daily basis.
We are hiring an experienced Supervisor or Director, (based on your qulification and experience), for our licensed Preschool in West Seattle. You must have a minimum of 47 ECE credits and a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Director or Supervisor at a licensed Preschools in WA state. Spanish language as an addition is encouraged.
The job entails managing a Preschool, where the Supervisor (Director) will communicate and coordinate daily operations with the Area Manger or CEO. The work is not remote. Our preschool is open between 7:30am and 5:30pm. The Preschool has around 60 kids.
The preschool is well established and fully staffed. The position is a full time job, however, pending on qualifications and experience, we can discuss other working hours, but the person must be there when the preschool opens and when it closes.
Minimum requirement, please carefully read:
- 47 Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits, or a completed Bachelor ECE degree as registered with MERIT. (Only MERIT can determine how many ECE credits you have).
- Minimum three years of licensed preschool work
- Merit account and portable background check
- DCYF certificates & orientation
- WA state approved first-aid and CPR for children and adult certification
- TB test by the Mantoux method
- Food handler card
- HIV/AIDS/Blood borne pathogen training certification
- MMR vaccine
