Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices all over the country. We are seeking dedicated and skilled Electronics Technicians to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical diagnostics, schematic reading, and electronic troubleshooting, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance and reliability of complex electronic systems. **$140/day per diem for qualified candidates**
Duties
- Utilize diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment to identify faults in electronic systems and components.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on AC/DC electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting manuals to guide repairs.
- Conduct maintenance, repair, and calibration of electronic equipment, including soldering and electrical soldering tasks.
- Use hand tools, ohmmeters, and other measurement devices to perform precise repairs and testing procedures.
- Provide field service support by installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems at various locations.
- Diagnose issues related to computer hardware, networking components, and mechanical parts within electronic assemblies.
- Document repair procedures, test results, and system modifications accurately for quality control purposes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex electronic systems and improve product reliability.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols related to low voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electronics technician or service technician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with electronic equipment testing, maintenance, and repair across diverse industries.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting manuals.
- Familiarity with AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and electrical soldering techniques.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters (ohmmeters), oscilloscopes, and other testing instruments.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components, networking basics, and mechanical knowledge related to electronic assemblies.
- Demonstrated ability to perform field service tasks efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication for customer service interactions.
- Prior experience working with schematic interpretation software or digital blueprint reading tools is advantageous.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
