Bring your estimating and project management expertise to high-impact, waterfront-to-infrastructure work in the Lake Erie region. In this Estimator Project Manager opportunity, you’ll help shape winning bids and run key elements of multiple construction projects while partnering closely with the owner and field leadership.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator Project Manager position include:
- 3–5 years ideal (4–6 years estimating/managing construction projects), including estimating projects up to roughly $5 million
- Experience estimating infrastructure and marine construction projects (local or semi-local to the Lake Erie area preferred)
- Estimating scopes including earthwork, roadways, utilities (waterline, storm and sanitary sewer), concrete flatwork/structures, sheet pile, and foundation pile
- Working knowledge of means and methods, production rates, and crew sizing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Review estimated productions with management to finalize bids and assist with prioritizing, answering questions, managing bid deadlines, and resolving bid-related issues
- Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, and general contractors/subcontractors to develop winning bids
- Set up awarded projects, coordinate preconstruction/startup activities, track project schedules with field managers, manage quotes and comparisons to finalize pricing, and prepare submittals and permits as required
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
