- Recruit and interview new employees while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team skills.
- Supervise staff schedules and shift management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to attract customers and increase store traffic.
- Oversee purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with excellent communication skills.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, cash handling procedures, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations.
- Monitor retail math metrics such as sales targets, budgeting, and sales management to achieve business goals.
- Conduct regular store inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and store policies.
- Foster a positive team environment through leadership in employee orientation, training & development initiatives, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Customer focused leadership.
- Proven management experience in retail with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory control, merchandising, and POS systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills along with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and managing payroll processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team management and employee development.
- Skilled in retail math including budgeting, pricing strategies, and sales analysis.
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
