The Role
Working closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen leadership team, the Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the restaurant. This position ensures that all service items and kitchen areas are clean, safe, and ready to support a smooth and efficient service.
What You’ll Do-
Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment

Safely operate and maintain dish machines and three-compartment sinks

Properly store all cleaned items in designated areas

Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish and BOH areas, including floors, trash, and recycling

Sweep, mop, and manage waste to ensure a clean, safe, and dry work environment

Handle fragile items with care while ensuring proper sanitation standards

Support proper food storage practices, including labeling, dating, and organization when needed

Maintain a steady sense of urgency to support the flow of service

Follow all sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards

Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties in a timely and thorough manner

Assist kitchen team with basic cleaning and organizational tasks as needed

Communicate equipment issues, safety concerns, and supply needs to management

Physical Requirements-
Lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Safely and effectively use all necessary cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals

Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant
