Job Summary:
LS Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Used Machine Mechanical Technician to join our Rebuild Department. This role is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing used industrial machinery, including shot blasters, parts washers, vibratory equipment, and other heavy-duty mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and operational defects.
- Disassemble, clean, and repair or replace mechanical components (gears, motors, belts, bearings, seals, etc.).
- Rebuild and restore machinery to operational or sale-ready condition.
- Tests and rebuild machines for proper functionality and safety.
- Document repair processes, parts used, and final test results.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams for complex rebuilds or part sourcing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and OSHA standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of hands-on mechanical repair or maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with used or rebuilt industrial machinery.
- Welding, fabrication, Electrical and Assembly experience required
- Forklift certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on machinery for extended periods.

Shift: 1st Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm.
