Overview
Club Xcite is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based opening in the Roseville, CA area for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an in-person role supporting students in educational settings across various districts and grade levels.
- Schedule: 20 hours per week (flexible schedule)
- Setting: On site, school-based
- Caseload: 20-28 elementary school students
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
- Support student mobility, posture, strength, balance, and access to the educational environment
- Conduct physical therapy assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Consult with school staff regarding orthopedic, mobility, and environmental access needs
- Recommend, monitor, and support adaptive equipment and assistive technology needs
- Train school staff on transfers, positioning, mobility supports, and body mechanics
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school-based and state requirements
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapy license
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Experience working with students or youth in school-based, pediatric, or clinical settings
- Ability to work onsite (no remote roles)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior school-based PT experience
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school documentation
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience with adaptive equipment, mobility devices, and student access planning
