Job Overview:
Capital Dental Group’s Check-In Support serves as the first and last impression of the practice, creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless arrival experience for every patient. This role exists to elevate the patient’s experience by combining hospitality with efficiency, ensuring all patients feel acknowledged, guided, and cared for from the moment they enter to the moment they leave.
While check-in processes are primarily completed through electronic systems, the Check-In Host ensures patients are supported, comfortable, and confident throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every patient and guest immediately upon entry with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Acknowledge and welcome all individuals entering the lobby, even when assisting others
- Provide a genuine farewell to patients as they leave, ensuring a positive final impression
- Maintain a visible, approachable presence at the front at all times
- Confirm if patients are arriving for a scheduled appointment
- Guide and assist patients through the electronic check-in process using kiosks
- Answer basic questions related to check-in and direct patients as needed
- Ensure patients are successfully checked in and informed to wait in the lobby
- Monitor lobby activity and patient wait times using Open Dental
- Proactively communicate with coordinators regarding patient wait times
- Periodically check in with waiting patients to provide updates and reassurance
- Ensure kiosks are operational, clean, and fully functional at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment
- During slower periods, proactively check equipment, tidy the space, and ensure readiness for incoming patients
- Direct unscheduled patients, vendors, and non-patient visitors to the front desk for assistance
- Ensure all individuals are acknowledged and guided appropriately
- When not assigned to check-in desk, answer phones, collect insurance, schedule patients ect.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience (dental or healthcare preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands
- Ability to sit/stand up to 10 hours per day

Schedule
Sunday-Wednesday, Wednesday-Saturday ( 4 days a week, 10 hour days)
Pay
$17.50-$19.00 (doe) +bonus
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
