Overview
We are seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. Anchorage Marina & Yacht Club is a private, members only club. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized, and supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the culinary team.
- May need help with bussing tables and clearing dishes from dining areas to maintain a tidy restaurant environment.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or working in a hospitality environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary practices is a plus.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
