I’m a private homeowner with 10+ rental properties in the Kansas City area, and I’m looking for a reliable, trustworthy, bilingual(Spanish+English) Property Assistant to work with me long-term.
This position will start with flexible, part-time hours based on property needs and vacancies. As you become familiar with the properties and we build a strong working relationship, the responsibilities and hours can gradually increase. For the right person, this position has the potential to grow into a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
- Meet prospective tenants at rental properties for scheduled showings
- Open and lock properties before and after showings
- Stay on-site during showings and help ensure the property remains secure
- Walk visitors through the home and provide basic property information supplied by the owner
- Check the general condition and status of vacant properties
- Take photos and videos and report maintenance, cleanliness, or security concerns
- Post owner-provided rental listings and photos on Facebook and other approved platforms
- Help coordinate showing schedules and basic communication
- Provide updates after property visits and showings
- Assist with additional property-related tasks as the position grows
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Must live in or near the Kansas City area
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable, punctual, and organized
- Comfortable meeting and communicating with prospective tenants
- Comfortable using Facebook, text messaging, photos, and smartphone apps
- Trustworthy and responsible with access to multiple rental properties
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Experience:
Experience in property management, leasing support, real estate, Airbnb, hospitality, customer service, or personal-assistant work is helpful, but not required.
Important:
The property owner will personally handle tenant screening, applications, rental approvals, lease negotiations, pricing decisions, and final lease terms.

Pay: $25.39 - $30.57 per hour
