Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Physics or Astronomy or closely related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and technical skills with research and/or laboratory experience in the appropriate field
- Experience with post-doc research specialty
This is a post-doctoral position located in the School of Physics and Astronomy (SPA). Areas of research include Astronomy, Astrophysics, Biological Physics, Condensed Matter experiments, Condensed Matter Theoretical Physics, High Energy Experiment, High Energy Theory, Nuclear Theory, and Space Physics.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis in relevant research.
- Communicating research to the broader community by writing papers, submitting them for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Giving presentations at universities and laboratories and presenting results at domestic and international conferences.
- Supervise research assistants and laboratory personnel participating in relevant research.
- Other duties as assigned.
