Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, email marketing, and customer follow-up.
Manage leads, customer information, and sales activities using our CRM system.
Follow up with prospective and existing customers to build long-term relationships.
Schedule appointments for sales representatives and project managers.
Meet with customers in our office and occasionally visit customer locations, networking events, and job sites.
Assist with marketing campaigns, lead generation, and business development initiatives.
Prepare proposals, estimates, presentations, and other business development materials.
Customer Service & Office Operations
Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming phone calls and assisting customers with questions and service requests.
Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
Monitor and respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner.
Schedule service appointments and coordinate daily office activities.
Assist customers with scheduling, billing inquiries, and general office support.
Support daily administrative and operational tasks to ensure the office runs efficiently.
During peak seasonal periods, assist with increased call volume and office operations to ensure outstanding customer service.
Team Support
Coordinate with office staff, sales representatives, project managers, and field technicians.
Attend company training sessions and continuously learn about our services, industries, and business operations.
Support multiple businesses and departments as operational needs evolve.
Assist with additional projects, departments, and future business ventures as assigned to support the continued growth and success of the organization.
Qualifications
Required
Construction industry knowledge or experience is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable making outbound sales calls and following up with customers.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally when needed.
Preferred
Experience in business development, customer service, sales, or office administration.
Experience using CRM software.
Knowledge of the HVAC, heating oil, home improvement, or commercial service industries is a strong advantage.
Experience preparing proposals, estimates, or sales documents is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer software.
