Job Overview
Suitable Staffing is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator for one of our clients in the City of Garde.
1st shift: 8 am-5 pm
Pay Rate $25
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock levels, cycle counts, and reconciliation using Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP systems.
- Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, ensuring timely order fulfillment, picking & packing, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Oversee transportation management by planning routes, scheduling freight pickups and deliveries, and collaborating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, safety, and accuracy through data analysis and continuous review of operations.
- Supervise materials handling activities such as packaging, palletizing, and forklift operations to ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Support procurement and sourcing efforts by managing supplier relationships and assisting with category management initiatives.
- Monitor demand planning and inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations while optimizing costs related to pricing and freight. Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supply chain operations with strong knowledge of logistics processes.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and materials handling.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong data analysis skills for supply chain analytics and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
