JPI Mechanical is a 20+ year family owned company that is seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC/R technician to join our team and drive excellence. We are seeking a commercial HVAC technician that is looking to grow his career in a stable company. Sign on bonus is being offered.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective repairs.
- Conduct routine property maintenance tasks such as unit servicing, general air mechanic upkeep.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to perform precise electrical testing and mechanical repairs.
- Perform field service operations including equipment diagnostics, component replacement, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Assist with HVAC system upgrades or installations by applying mechanical expertise.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and service standardd
- Complete maintenance in required time frames
- Maintain company vehicle and tools in proper working conditions
Job Type : Full - Time
Pay - $20-$35 hr (based on experience)

Requirements / Benefits
*3-5 years experience in HVAC/R*
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC/R systems.
- Strong communication skills
- Must have all basic hvac tools / meters
- High energy and positive attitude is a plus
- EPA certified preferred
- English speaking required
- Knowledge of schematics, refrigeration technology.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools and perform equipment repair with precision.
- Mechanical knowledge of air conditioning units, property maintenance tasks, welding techniques, and general maintenance procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently on-site.
- Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to read technical schematics and work independently or as part of a team.
