About the Position
At Solifi, we are transforming secured finance through technology that powers equipment, working capital, and automotive finance. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Proposal Manager to bring structure, quality, and scalability to our global RFx response process.
This role sits within the Sales Consulting organization and serves as the central orchestrator of proposal execution, content strategy, and process optimization—directly impacting our ability to win complex, competitive deals.
You will partner across Sales, Sales Consulting, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to deliver compelling, compliant, and differentiated proposals aligned to client needs and Solifi’s value proposition.
Role and Responsibilities
RFx Management & Execution
o Own the end-to-end RFx lifecycle (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs), including intake, qualification support, response development, and submission
o Analyze RFx requirements, evaluation criteria, and response structures to ensure alignment with win strategy
o Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and stakeholder responsibilities
o Coordinate cross-functional input from Sales, Sales Consulting, Product, Legal, Finance, and SMEs
o Ensure all submissions are accurate, complete, compliant, and delivered on time (portal, document, presentation formats)
o Serve as the primary point of contact for RFx-related coordination globally
Strategic Messaging & Proposal Development
o Draft, edit, and refine proposal responses to ensure clarity, consistency, and professionalism
o Customize messaging to highlight key differentiators and align with client-specific needs, industry context, and buying criteria
o Translate technical and product capabilities into clear, compelling business value narratives
o Support development of executive summaries, solution narratives, and RFP-related presentations
Content Strategy & Library Management
o Own and continuously improve the centralized RFP content library, including Q&A responses, case studies, templates, and reusable assets
o Partner with SMEs to ensure content is accurate, current, and aligned with product evolution and messaging
o Identify content gaps and proactively develop new materials to strengthen future responses
o Extend beyond RFPs to support sales enablement assets (e.g., battlecards, standard responses, positioning frameworks)
Sales Enablement & Stakeholder Support
o Act as a force multiplier for Sales and Sales Consulting, ensuring teams have the tools, content, and structure needed to win
o Support onboarding and training of new hires on RFx processes, tools, and best practices
o Provide guidance on proposal strategy, structure, and response positioning
o Partner with Marketing to ensure alignment between proposals and broader go-to-market messaging
Process Optimization & Innovation
o Establish and refine scalable RFx processes, templates, and operating models across regions
o Leverage AI and proposal automation tools (e.g., Arphie, Inventive, Loopio) to improve efficiency, consistency, and response quality
o Track and analyze key metrics (turnaround time, win rates, content reuse, bottlenecks)
o Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce friction and increase throughput
Win/Loss Analysis & Insights
o Conduct win/loss analysis through internal debriefs and, where possible, client/prospect feedback
o Identify trends related to product gaps, competitive positioning, pricing, and messaging effectiveness
o Translate insights into actionable improvements across proposals, content, and sales strategy
o Partner with Sales, Product, and Leadership to feed insights back into the business
Compliance & Quality Assurance
o Review RFx requirements in detail to ensure strict adherence to client instructions, formats, and evaluation criteria
o Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all submissions
o Proofread and validate all proposal content prior to submission
o Ensure proper documentation and governance of proposal artifacts
