We, at Venture Milk, are a Grade A processor of local, organic and grass fed milk and would like to add the next addition to our team. We are looking for a class A CDL driver to pickup raw milk at the different dairies we work with as well as to deliver finished product to distribution point in Atlanta.
Responsibilities Include:
-Traveling to farms to pickup milk with a tanker
-No overnights
-Maintain Hours of Service for DOT
-Safely operate truck, refrigerated trailer and tanker, following all DOT regulations
-Properly handle milk in the pumping process during raw milk pickups
-Unload pallets of finished product at Atlanta Distribution Point
Qualifications Include:
-Class A CDL
-Clean Driving Record
-Up-to-date Medical Card
-Tanker Endorsement a plus and if not currently on license, will need to be acquired prior to operating tanker.
-No prior tanker experience necessary but a plus.
-Venture Milk will set the individual up to become a certified raw milk sampler and handler
Compensation starting at $22/hr based on experience.
