Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Skilled Tradesman to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of building and renovation projects with precision and expertise. Your hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and commitment to safety will ensure the successful completion of construction projects, from initial framing to finishing touches. Duties
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute construction tasks
- Perform building material installation including drywall, flooring, tile laying, cabinetry, and trim carpentry
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively on various outdoor and indoor projects
- Install windows, doors, glass panels, roofing materials, stucco, and perform masonry work with precision
- Conduct construction inspection to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project specifications
- Fabricate custom components and perform concrete forming, finishing, and plastering tasks
- Assist in remodeling and restoration projects by applying skills in caulking, painting, welding, and hardscape installation
Qualifications
- Proven construction management experience with a strong background in building construction and site supervision
- Extensive hands-on experience
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and safety protocol adherence
- Skilled in various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry), masonry, roofing, electrical work, plumbing, tile laying, and glass installation
- Outdoor work experience on diverse construction projects is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards
