We are a boutique Personal Injury firm seeking a Paralegal with experience and knowledge of Personal Injury law for immediate placement in The Bronx, NY for an in person position.
The right candidate must possess experience with personal injury law and be a self motivator and a team player. Additionally, the candidate must be punctual, diligent, and possess a high work ethic. Bilingual Spanish candidate is preferred.
The position will entail the following:
Filing Summons and Complaints
Drafting Bill Of Particulars
Exchange Of Discovery Demands
Summarize deposition transcripts, Medical Records and Medical Bills
Drafting standard correspondence and other legal documents
Communicate with Experts
Prepare documents for expert review
Maintain and organize case files for various legal appearances including Preliminary Conferences, Status Conferences, Mediations, Depositions, Hearings and Trial
Prepare trial documents and pleadings.
Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
Knowledge of Local, State and Federal Court Systems
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
