We are a well-established full service locksmith and security company seeking an apprentice or experienced, full time locksmith with strong sales and customer service skills.
This position consists of, but not limited to:
- Customer service
- Cutting new or duplicate keys and stamps with identification
- Installing, servicing, and repairing various types of locks and security devices
- Disassembling locks; repair and replace worn tumblers, springs, and other parts
- Moving heavy safes via specialized equipment and training
Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to use a variety of machinery and tools, such as key cutting machines and drills
- A strong understanding of various types of locking systems and hardware
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Communication and social skills
- Sufficient manual dexterity to use tools and manipulate locking devices
- Flexibility to work both independently and within a team
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various condition
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Qualifications and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
A valid Driver’s License
Ability to pass a detailed background investigation
