Advancement and Engagement Manager
The Advancement and Engagement Manager is an integral member of the Advancement team at the Mount, responsible for strengthening engagement and philanthropic participation among parents, alumnae, and other members of the Mount community while serving as the primary liaison to the Parent Association. This role reports to the Director of Annual Giving and supports the planning and execution of annual giving initiatives, volunteer engagement programs, parent and alumnae outreach, and donor stewardship activities that advance the mission and strategic priorities of Mount Saint Joseph Academy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Annual Giving Support

Support the Director of Annual Giving in the planning and execution of a comprehensive annual giving program designed to increase participation and revenue.

Assist with the implementation of annual appeals, Giving Day, fiscal year-end campaigns, and other annual giving initiatives.

Support segmentation, volunteer outreach, and constituent engagement strategies that enhance annual fund performance.

Partner with the Director of Annual Giving to execute reunion giving efforts and other targeted fundraising initiatives.

Assist in tracking and reporting annual fund participation, volunteer activity, and campaign results.
Parent Association Liaison and Volunteer Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for the Parents Association, fostering strong relationships and effective collaboration.

Support Parents Association meetings, initiatives, and events to ensure alignment with the Mount’s mission and goals.

Recruit, train, and support parent volunteers who advance engagement and philanthropic objectives.

Partner with the Director of Annual Giving on parent giving initiatives, including new parent giving and senior parent gift efforts.

Identify opportunities to deepen parent engagement and strengthen the connection between volunteerism and philanthropy.
Alumnae Engagement

Support the Director of Advancement Operations and Alumnae Relations in the execution of alumnae engagement initiatives, including reunions, networking opportunities, monthly newsletter, regional gatherings, and volunteer programs.

Assist with the management and support of reunion committees and Class Agent volunteers.

Collaborate on efforts to engage young alumnae and strengthen lifelong connections to the Mount.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Director of Annual Giving, Director of Advancement Operations and Alumnae Relations, Director of Leadership Giving, and Chief Advancement Officer to advance institutional fundraising and engagement goals.

Collaborate with the Event Coordinator to ensure successful execution of parent, alumnae, donor, and campaign-related events.

Maintain accurate records of engagement activities, volunteer involvement, and constituent interactions within Advancement systems.

Support campaign engagement initiatives and volunteer activities as needed.

Other responsibilities as assigned in line with imminent priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working with volunteers and constituent groups preferred.

Proficiency with fundraising and database systems preferred

Commitment to the mission and values of the Mount.

Ability to work nights and weekends as needed for events.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree required.
-
At least 2-5 years of experience in advancement, fundraising, alumni relations, communications, volunteer management or related field; experience in independent schools or nonprofit organizations is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Prolonged periods standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and computer/technology-use throughout the working period.
