EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this role, you will help keep PennDOT’s operations running smoothly by managing inventory, receiving materials, and supporting storeroom functions that are essential to maintenance work across the county. You will recommend reorder adjustments based on usage, prepare requisitions, and track the status of parts and supplies. You will also receive and inspect deliveries, accept or reject items based on specifications, and maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records.You will unload delivery trucks using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring all materials are organized and stored properly. Using SAP, you will receive and issue inventory items, transfer materials between locations, and maintain accurate PPE and consumable-use records. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure crews have the tools and materials they need to keep Pennsylvania’s roads safe and well-maintained.Interested in learning more?
