We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Lead Installer-Service Technician with a strong background in duct work, HVAC systems, and mechanical maintenance. Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications
- Perform routine and emergency service repairs on HVAC/R systems, including troubleshooting schematics and mechanical components
- Conduct duct work installation, modifications, and maintenance to optimize airflow and system efficiency
- Read and interpret technical schematics, HVAC design plans, and plumbing diagrams to accurately install or repair systems
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other equipment repair instruments to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, installations, inspections, and repairs for compliance and quality assurance
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, appliances, and mechanical components as needed
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC installation and service work
- Prior experience as a service technician in HVAC or refrigeration fields with knowledge of field service procedures
- Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance routines, and property upkeep
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems
- Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service environments
