Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our 5-star luxury hotel NYC location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in the hotel industry, ensuring that all aspects of service, kitchen management, and staff performance meet our high standards. This role is essential for maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests while managing the team efficiently.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Help manage kitchen operations if necessary, including handling and inventory control.
- Manage front of the house and dining room daily operations
- Help with hiring and training floor staff.
- Oversee shift management to ensure optimal staffing levels and effective scheduling.
- Train and develop staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and sales tracking.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen facilities.
Qualifications ho
- Proven experience in Floor Management or a similar role within the hotel industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety practices.
- Experience with inventory control processes to manage stock levels effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
