We're looking for dynamic team players passionate about freight transportation and logistics. In this role, you'll strategically coordinate your assigned trucks to meet operational target revenue and utilization goals per truck. You will work in a high-performance environment where team members are encouraged to grow and have rewarding professional experience.
- Manage and match available loads from our clients to over-the-road truck to maximize the capacity of each truck and driver, consolidating cargo throughout all regions.
- Understanding current market trends and rates to improve service/cost to meet the operation profit margin goals
- Responsible for fleet profitability by continuously assigning loads based on a preplanned operation. This role includes booking freight ahead of time as necessary
- Continuous communication with drivers to ensure load planning and accurate assignment
- Collaborate with internal operational teams to implement cost-efficient logistics solutions to move the company trucks
- Full understanding of Hours of Service regulation for proper load assignment
- Meet or exceed expected KPIs
- Educational Background: College degree preferred, or some college coursework completed.
- Industry Experience: Familiarity with preplanning, trucking, and dispatch is a plus.
