Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Salary: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
Work Location: Onsite (Vallejo, CA)
Shift Available: Grave Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Position Overview
Diligence Security Group is seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Guard to support our clients in Vallejo, CA. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safety, enforcing site protocols, and upholding all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Candidates must be adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working across multiple sites as needed.

Requirements
- Licenses & Certifications (Required)
- Valid State Guard Card License
- Valid State Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Baton Certification
- Pepper Spray Certification
- Handcuff Certification
- Taser Certification
CPR/AED/First Aid Certification

Experience
Minimum of 1 year of security experience
Skills & Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective de-escalation and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to identify and respond to critical issues
- Fluent in English (additional languages preferred)
- Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet applications

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred
Prior military or law enforcement experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and unusual situations
- Control access and verify authorization for site entry
- Conduct foot patrols of entrances, exits, and key areas
- Enforce site rules and address violations appropriately
- Prepare detailed written Incident Reports and Daily Activity Logs
- Assist in emergency situations, including fire, medical, and safety hazards
Maintain proficiency with issued protective and restraint equipment

Physical Demands
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to walk or move throughout a shift while conducting patrols
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, or climb as required
- Ability to lift or maneuver up to 100 lbs
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
