American Traveler is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of specialty experience.

Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy unit

Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 18:45 to 7:15
-
Weekend coverage required every other weekend
-
13-week assignment length
-
Epic charting system experience preferred
-
No call-in requirements for this position

Current CRT or RRT certification required
-
State license required if applicable
-
Compact or LA license required in hand upon submission

BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA certifications only)

Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required

Must be an experienced Respiratory Therapist; new graduates will not be considered

Must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing if booked with a pending license

First-time travelers will be considered as long as they have prior RT experience

Orientation held five days a week

Candidates must live more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted

RTO must be listed on the candidate profile and discussed during the interview process

Two Manager or Supervisor references will be required prior to starting the contract; Charge RN references are not accepted

Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a full year separation from the facility before returning as a traveler

May be assigned to an Emergency Team during emergency events, which could require staying at the facility until the event has passed or joining a relief team
