We are looking for a reliable CMA/LPN/RT to provide clinical services in a professional and considerate manner. CMA/LPN/RT professionals must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate is flexible, open-minded, and team oriented.
Responsibilities
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Prepare and clean instruments and maintain equipment
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Triage and assist with other basic medical care tasks
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and education
- Maintain and update electronic medical records
- Coordinate patient plan of care - schedule procedures, referrals, order testing, medication refills
- Submit prior authorizations and make referrals
Skills
- Proven experience as CMA, LPN, or RT
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and clinical terminology
- Good knowledge and experience using electronic health records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Successful completion of CMA, LPN, or RT license program is a must
