Overview
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Bartenders to join our dynamic team for lunch shifts and potential dinner shifts. The ideal candidates will have a passion for mixology and/or a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring that the bar operates smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction with their drinks.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and managing tabs.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Experience in bartending or serving is required.
- Familiarity with retail math to assist in inventory management is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to work independently when needed.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
