Part-Time Barista Wanted – Join the Willamette Coffee House Family!
Willamette Coffee House, located on the corner of 2nd and Holly, is looking for a long-term employee to join our team.
We're currently hiring a part-time barista who is a team player, enjoys connecting with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment (even with a line out the door!). Experience is required.
We proudly serve Longbottom Coffee and Tea (Hillsboro, OR), alongside a selection of pastries, breakfast items, and lunch sandwiches. We’re passionate about supporting our neighborhood and other local businesses.
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent customer service skills – A genuine love for people and building relationships.
- Ability to work independently – Stay focused and self-motivated during busy shifts.
- Strong multitasking skills – Prioritize tasks on the fly while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Commitment – Willing to commit to the role for at least one year.
- Physical stamina – Able to be on your feet, moving quickly, and smiling throughout your shift.
- Reliability – Must be available to work Sundays between the hours of 7am-3:30pm.
Duties Include:
- Making quality coffee and espresso drinks
- Handling cash and operating the register
- Cleaning and restocking as needed
- Providing friendly, consistent customer service
Position Details:
- Hours: 15–20 hours/week (with the potential for more)
- Pay: Minimum Wage + tips (our customers are very generous)
- We’re happy to work around school or another job, if weekend availability is consistent.
