Duties
- Greet patients warmly to ensure a positive experience from the moment they arrive
- Oversee patients during therapy sessions to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for them
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, assessments, and treatments using proper medical terminology and documentation standards
- Assist in supporting administrative staff in tasks such as managing patient files
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure all procedures adhere to anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and safety protocols
- Guide patients in their rehabilitation protocols and perform physiotherapy modalities
Skills
- Strong patient service skills with a friendly, empathetic approach that puts patients at ease
- Solid understanding of physiology and anatomy to effectively assist with clinical procedures and patient assessments
- Knowledge of medical terminology for accurate documentation and communication within the healthcare team
- Ability to perform intake procedures efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment plans and answering patient questions clearly
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Prior experience or familiarity with chiropractic or similar healthcare settings is a plus but not required
