The Foundation Operations & Engagement Manager is a hands-on, mission-driven professional responsible for coordinating the administrative, technology, communications, and operational functions of the Peru State College Foundation. This position plays a critical role in supporting fundraising, donor stewardship, scholarship administration, board relations, constituent engagement, and the effective use of tools that advance the Foundation's mission.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
- Manage daily office operations, records management, office technology, equipment, and administrative systems.
- Maintain and improve operational procedures and recommend efficiencies to strengthen Foundation operations.
- Assist in maintaining Foundation policies, records of retention, and compliance with organizational procedures.
Financial Management
- Process of gifts, deposits, accounts payable, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain and update accurate donor and financial records.
Scholarship & Fund Administration
- Coordinate scholarship and grant administration, including application cycles, award notifications, and fund tracking.
- Maintain scholarship agreements and assist with reporting to donors and campus partners.
- Ensure the accuracy of scholarship and endowed fund records.
Board, Donor & Event Support
- Coordinate Board of Directors and committee meetings, including scheduling, agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up.
- Assist with donor stewardship activities, recognition programs, Foundation events, and special projects.
- Respond professionally to inquiries from donors, alumni, students, and campus constituents.
Communications & Social Media
- Assist in developing and maintaining the Foundation's communications calendar.
- Create, schedule, and publish content for Foundation social media platforms that highlight scholarships, donor impact, fundraising campaigns, alumni achievements, and Foundation events.
- Assist with website updates, email communications, digital newsletters, photography, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with Peru State College Marketing and Communications to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Monitor social media engagement and recommend opportunities to increase alumni and donor interaction.
Fundraising Management
- Serve as the Foundation's primary administrator and liaison for donor engagement technologies, CRM platforms, and fundraising automation tools.
- Review performance metrics, engagement data, and ROI reports from fundraising technology platforms and provide recommendations to the Executive Director.
- Assist in identifying donor segments, portfolio strategies, and data quality initiatives that support AI-assisted fundraising efforts.
- Support implementation, training, and ongoing management of technology platforms designed to improve fundraising effectiveness, donor retention, and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate fundraising, stewardship, communications, and Foundation operations.
Technology & Database Management
- Maintain the Foundation's donor database and constituent records.
- Generate reports to support fundraising, donor stewardship, scholarship administration, and Board decision-making.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in nonprofit administration, higher education, business operations, foundation management, or related field.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Nonprofit Management, Accounting, Communications, Marketing, or related field or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Teams, Excel, Power BI, and Copilot tools.
· Experience with donor CRM systems such as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT or similar advancement databases.
· Familiarity with fundraising automation platforms, donor engagement technologies, and communication tools.
· Ability to analyze constituent data, engagement metrics, and fundraising performance reports.
· Proficiency with social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, also the ability to use social platforms such as Canva, Indesign and WeVideo.

Compensation & Benefits
· Salary range: $55,000–$70,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
