Spring Property Management has been a trusted name in Columbus-area apartment communities for over 20 years. We manage mid-range residential properties where our residents are proud to call home — and our team is the reason why. We're a close-knit group that genuinely supports one another, celebrates wins together, and takes pride in the communities we manage. If you're looking for a workplace where you're valued as a person, not just an employee, you'll fit right in here.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and people-driven leasing consultant to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first impression for prospective residents — guiding them through the leasing process, building lasting relationships with current residents, and helping keep our communities thriving. This is also a growth role: we're specifically looking for someone with the drive and potential to step into a Community Manager position within 1–2 years.
What You'll Do
- Partner with the Community Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Assist with lease or rental agreement management, including drafting, renewal processing, and ensuring accuracy in lease terms.
- Lead leasing efforts — market vacant units, host property tours, and screen prospective tenants.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair requests, making sure issues are resolved quickly and residents stay in the loop.
- Maintain comprehensive property records through data entry, filing, and updating tenant files in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards.
- Handle tenant communications via phone etiquette, resolving conflicts effectively while fostering positive relationships through excellent customer service.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting using tools like Excel and our property management software.
- Travel between Columbus-area properties as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the Community Manager and pitch in wherever needed.
What We're Looking For
- Solid understanding of property leasing and management principles
- Comfort working with contracts and lease agreements
- Experience with Rent Manager software a plus
- Strong data entry skills with a sharp eye for accuracy
- Real estate administrative know-how, including organizing documents and maintaining records
- A knack for building great tenant relationships and resolving conflicts with professionalism
- Clear, confident communication with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills
What We Offer
- Pay: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
- Commissions paid monthly
- Annual bonus
- 8 paid holidays
