Position Summary
- We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individual. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact during business hours and play a vital role in ensuring every customer receives outstanding service from their first phone call to their final fitting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet customers and create a welcoming, professional environment. Assist customers in selecting tuxedos, suits, and accessories for weddings, proms, and special occasions. Build relationships with customers and provide personalized recommendations. Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and schedule appointments. Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently. Serve as the primary in-store contact and represent the business in a positive and professional manner. Fittings & Order Management Take accurate measurements for tuxedo and suit fittings. Assemble tuxedo and accessory packages for customers. Verify order details and ensure accuracy of measurements and selections.
- Enter customer information, measurements, and orders into the internal database. Coordinate order fulfillment and track incoming and outgoing inventory. Assist with final fittings and ensure garments are ready for pickup. Store Operations Clean, polish, and maintain dress shoes and accessories. Inspect garments and accessories for quality and completeness. Prepare garments for customer pickup and returns. Maintain an organized and clean showroom and fitting areas. Assist with inventory counts and restocking merchandise. Open and close the store according to established procedures. Process transactions and handle cash and credit card payments. Ensure displays and merchandise are presented professionally. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate customer records and documentation. Follow up with customers regarding fittings, pickups, and returns. Assist with special orders and vendor communications. Help maintain calendars and appointment schedules. Support marketing initiatives, including social media posts and customer outreach when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Availability to work evenings and weekends, especially during prom and wedding seasons.

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
