As a DP Chemical Operator IV, you will produce and package batches of chemical products for the semiconductor industry.\n\nSummary of Job: Perform manufacturing batch processing tasks as specified in written procedures to support the production, packaging, and handling of materials at DuPont Electronics& Industrial, Marlborough, MA. The position requires a focus on safety, strong communication skills, and a resiliency to attention to detail.\n\nResponsibilities: \n\nMaintain a safe working environment and participate in all required safety programs, training, and activities.\n\nFollow Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.\n\nProduce batches of chemistry by adding raw materials into a chemical vessel and following standard operating procedures.\n\nHandling hazardous raw materials and products with appropriate care and precautions.\n\nOperate and field check process equipment. Monitor process conditions, equipment, and DCS control systems.\n\nReceive direction from area leads/supervisor and complete assigned tasks.\n\nComplete routine and repetitive activities such as labeling, forming and filling boxes, moving materials and equipment.\n\n\nWork Hours: \n\nMust be able to work all scheduled times. Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 44 hours per week.\n\nMonday through Wednesday is 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.\n\nThursday is 7:00 AM – 3:30PM.\n\nThe position offers overtime hours contingent on business demand.\n\n\nBackground/Skill Requirements: \n\nMinimum requirement of High School Diploma or GED.\n\nExperience in a manufacturing environment is required.\n\nExperience with reactive chemistry manufacturing is preferred.\n\nFork Truck operation experience.\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.\n\nExceptional attention to detail.\n\nStrong organizational skills.\n\nSelf-motivating and hard working.\n\n\nPhysical Requirements: \n\nLight to moderate physical effort required.\n\nStanding/Walking for the majority of the 12-hour shift.\n\nLifting required occasionally of up to 40 pounds.\n\nBending, pushing and pulling required on a daily basis.\n\nAbility to occasionally work at table level and/or overhead level as necessary.\n\nRequired to wear appropriate PPE.\n\nRequired to work in a RESTRICTED electrically classified area for use of flammable and combustible materials. \n\n\nWork Environment: \n\nWork performed in a plant environment.\n\nExposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, chemical and other elements.\n\nRequired to wear appropriate and designated PPE within certain areas of the plant (e.g. hard-hat, goggles, gloves, respirator, cleanroom garment).

The Pay range for this role is $28.29 - $44.45 Hourly
