We are seeking New Construction plumbing supervisors and experienced plumbers to join one of the most respected plumbing companies in Florida. Our team performs a wide range of work from standard new construction plumbing to specialized installations, including medical gas systems in healthcare facilities. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in medical gas installation who take pride in high-quality, code-compliant work.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in new construction reading plans and installing plumbing layouts
- Assemble and install plumbing systems according to the Florida Building Code
- Troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline systems
- Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures
- Install, braze, test, and maintain medical gas systems in accordance with NFPA 99
- Supervisors must be able to oversee new construction projects from start to end.
- Supervisors must be able to review work done by plumbers to ensure that it tests well and is done properly and up to code.
- Supervisors must monitor employee attendance and job performance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related field
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Medical Gas Installation Certification preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA 99 medical gas codes and standards
- Experience with oxygen, vacuum, and compressed air systems
- Basic Computer Skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
